Who It's For
Most briarproof chaps build up heat fast. The Dog Day Chaps are built specifically for warm-weather hunting, with a 1000 denier nylon front that turns briars and brush and a vinyl-coated mesh backs that let air move freely behind your legs. Comfortable from 40°F to 90°F, these are the chaps for early-season small game, summer dog work, and any hunt where staying cool matters as much as staying protected.

Sizing & Care
- Thigh Measurement: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh. For comfortable movement, order 2–3 inches larger than your measurement.
- Inseam: Order 2–3 inches shorter than your pant inseam.
- Machine wash; hang dry. Do not put in the dryer.
Warranty Information
Dan’s Hunting Gear®, LLC, does warrant their products against any defects and workmanship flaws. The product has to be sent back to Dan’s® for inspection. However, Dan’s® will not warranty product that has been abused, or has more than normal wear and tear. On defective product, Dan’s® will either replace or repair the gear.
Dan's® will return/exchange any product for a different size, color, style as long as the product is new and has not been soiled. If a return is sent to us it will be inspected and only then approved by Dan’s® as a return or exchange. We will not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders. These seem to be very good quality, they are light and seem well made. I can't wait to put them in the briars this weekend and test them. The vents will be a big help keeping cool during the next early season.

Like Them Alot
For the mony can't go wrong. They are cooler than others on the warmer days because of the breathable mesh material at the back of legs. Second pair, 4 hevey seasons out of first pair and I am back.

Dog day chaps are a well made product.
Only have worn on one 5 hour hunt. Temp 21° at start and 48 at the end. Cool start but thankful i had them at the end of the day. Tougher than i thought. Would recommend to a friend. Get one size larger than you think i got 28 thigh should have got a 30.

Field Research
Through greenbriar, blackberry, and honey locust these chaps leave me with a far easier time finding what I'm looking for through thick and thin. They're pretty big on my size 2 frame but they work well and the only issue I have now is tripping on vines. Just wish I had a jacket made out of this stuff!
