Who It's For
For hunters who want maximum briar resistance without the added weight of a waterproof liner. The Brush Buster Chaps are built from 1000 denier Magnatuff nylon — heavier duty than most chaps on the market — for hunters and outdoors people who push through the nastiest cover and need leg protection that stands up to it. Unlined, lightweight, and easy to move in. Brown. Thigh sizes from 24" to 32", inseams from 26" to 34".
How It's Built
Dan's Brush Buster Chaps feature:
- 1000 denier Magnatuff nylon, unlined
- Adjustable buckle closure
- 24" side zippers for easy on and off over boots
- Brown
- Thigh sizes: Small (24"), Medium (26"), Large (28"), XL (30"), 2XL (32")
- Inseam lengths: 26", 28", 30", 32", 34"
Why It's Worth It
- 1000 Denier Magnatuff: Heavier nylon construction than standard chap, for the thorniest cover, including Russian olive, barbed wire, and blackberries.
- Unlined for Breathability: No liner means less bulk and better airflow on warm days and long days on the move.
- Easy On and Off: 24" side zippers slip over boots without the wrestling match.
- Built to Last: Adjustable buckle closure and Dan's hand-sewn construction hold up through hard seasons.
- Hand-Sewn in the USA: Crafted in Ohio for superior quality and field-readiness.
Sizing & Care
- Thigh Measurement: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh. For comfortable movement, order 2–3 inches larger than your measurement.
- Inseam: Order 2–3 inches shorter than your pant inseam.
- Do not machine dry! These briarproof chaps will shrink one to two sizes in the dryer.

Briar buster chaps
I'm out in woods in SW Michigan hunting morels. The sticker bushes are brutal, looks like a feral cat climbed up your legs. But not with Dan's briar busting chaps. Wished I ordered these years ago! I've used them for seven days and not one thorn has scratched or stuck me through the chaps. I highly recommend and endorse Dan's gear and briarproof superstore. Fast delivery, great prices and the best products

Chaps
I like the chaps. Fit well. I don't like the belt clip. Very flimsy and cheap looking. Currently looking to upgrade belt clip.

Brush buster chaps
One can not go wrong with a pair of these chaps. 24 inch zipper in the legs makes easy work of putting them both on and off. No more dancing on the floor trying to get them over your boots and off. Easy adjustment for legenth and hook up and remove your chaps. Very tough material keep the Russian olive tree thorns out and barb wire slides right over your leg. Best chaps I have owned.

Briar Buster Chaps
Shed briars well. Well made and good customer service. Only 1 day marking timber so far. Hope they hold up well. A little hot but you know that going in for briar protection.

Briar buster chaps
I couldn’t ask for more. Great quality. Great sizing options and fit guidance is perfect. Definitely not two or three sizes fit like most others offer. Thanks!

Best company to work with
I have made numerous purchases from Dan's , my last order was wrong. I contacted the company and fixed the issue right away, they sent me the correct pair and I returned the wrong ones. I will continue to buy from Dan's.

Brush buster chaps...
These are the best. Seen several guys in our hunting club wearing these and other Dan Hunting Gear, thought I'd give them a try and they work great going through brush and briars, great purchase.

Brush Buster Chaps
Received them yesterday. The fit is perfect, and I love that they are fairly lightweight. The real test will be in the field, but I think I'm going to be happy with these chaps.
